Terms and Conditions
Garden Leisure(NI) Ltd & Greenhouses (NI) Ltd act as an agent/showroom for a range of manufacturers/suppliers.
All products are covered by their respective manufacturers guarantees, these are available by request.
A summary of manufacturers guarantee is given below however please do not substitute these for full terms and conditions available if requested. 

TIMBER STRUCTURES
This guarantee covers every aspect of your product including:

• Roofing felt
• Glazing
• Ironmongery
• Timber structure

In the very rare event that a problem arises within twelve months of your Timber Garden Building being erected, please advise us as soon as possible, preferably via email to [email protected] We may require photographic evidence to assist us in rectifying the problem correctly.
The guarantee does NOT cover shrinking, twisting, warping, splits, knot holes, shakes, stains, colour changes, mould, mildew or green discoloration in the timber as timber itself is a naturally occurring product. The guarantee does NOT cover natural deterioration or lack of maintenance nor wear and tear due to use. The guarantee does NOT cover condensation or atmospheric moisture damage within your building. 
Storm Damage: You will be required to have your building named on your insurance as we do NOT cover storm damage or building movement as part of our guarantee. In the event of storm damage, we will NOT repair or replace any components until we have confirmation of payment from you or your insurer.
10 Year Anti-Rot Guarantee: We offer a ten year limited guarantee against rot to all our Timber Garden Buildings.
20 Year Felt Guarantee: If your building is fitted with optional torch-on felt this felt will come with a 20yr manufacturers guarantee.
The Anti-Rot Guarantee does NOT cover:

• Movement, warping or splitting etc of timber as this is a naturally occurring process.
• Skirting and decorative features
• Ironmongery or other fittings and fixtures
• Glass
• Base Work

To be covered by this Limited Anti-Rot Guarantee you will need to meet a number of conditions: The building must be installed on a suitable solid level base situated a reasonable distance away from walls, fences and hedges etc. This is required to allow for the air to pass freely around and enable you to treat the building as required on a regular basis. The guarantee will be void if any part or sections of the timbers are cut, notched or drilled without being fully re treated with a quality spirit based preserve. A quality spirit based (Not Water Based) timber treatment MUST be applied to the whole of the Building regularly. All buildings are delivered with one coat of external treatment. You MUST further treat the building with two or more coats within the first three months from installation. It must then be treated at least every twelve months thereafter to maintain the general overall appearance of the timber and to comply with our conditions.
The guarantee will become void and invalid if any of the below comes into effect. You customize or modify the garden building in any way without our approval. You are not the original purchaser of the building. The building is moved from its original location. You have not treated the building as advised, or you have used an unsuitable treatment. You have allowed trees, shrubs, foliage, mould, mildew or green discoloration to effect the timber causing damage or moisture ingress. The roof covering has been damaged and not correctly repaired or replaced by either ourselves or an approved contractor. You asked us to install the building in a location or site contradicting any of our recommendations either verbal or written.

GREENHOUSES
Warranty Statement – 12-Year Warranty
The guarantee applies to products in the two brand ranges, Juliana and Halls. Provided that the greenhouse is installed in conformity and compliance with the requirements of the assembly instructions and is maintained as directed, we provide a 12-year warranty. General maintenance of the greenhouse such as cleaning, lubrication and nut/ screw tightening must be carried out, as this may affect the structural quality of the greenhouse and its resistance to the impact of wind and snow.

Please Note that the Above Warranty Does Not Cover:

• Damage and functional problems caused by no, or inadequate, lubrication and maintenance, and washing of the outer powder-coated surface of the unit.
• For painted greenhouses, a two-year warranty applies to the paint. However, any peeling of paint on profiles that may be related to inadequate painting is covered by the 12-year warranty.
• The colour of spare parts may vary slightly. Please note that there may be small marks on the profiles resulting from the suspension of the profiles during the painting process. This does not give rise to any claim under the warranty.
• Glass, polycarbonate, glazing beads, shipping, assembly, improper storage of supplied parts.
• Products affected by external influences, such as: other building elements, climate impact, vandalism, force majeure, or other external factors.
• Remember, for example, to continuously remove snow from the roof to avoid possible breakage due to excessive weight, and to secure the structure during storms.
• Wear parts (such as handles, wheels, slide rails, cylinders and locking devices). Replacement of wear parts must be expected commensurate with daily use, application, and operation.
• Accessories.
• The warranty is also void if the product defect is caused by improper/ inappropriate use of parts in the structure.

Please note that a greenhouse is a single glazed structure and is not 100% sealed. Depending on weather conditions, leaks may occur at roof windows, doors, and ridge/corner joints. We encourage you to keep this in mind when styling and furnishing your greenhouse. We recommend that you report to your insurance company that you have acquired a greenhouse. In the event of weather damage, contact your insurance company as soon as possible.
